Rugby has lived in the U.S. Virgin Islands for decades. Back in the day, the islands fielded clubs that traveled the Caribbean, taking on Puerto Rico, the BVI, St. Maarten, and Antigua. Sunday matches at the field, cold drinks after, and the kind of brotherhood that only comes from 80 minutes of full contact under the Caribbean sun.
The old guard built something real. Tournaments came and went. Players moved away, fields changed hands, and for a while the whistle went quiet. But the jerseys never really got put away. They just waited.
Now we're bringing it back. A new generation of locals, returners, and transplants is restarting the club because the islands deserve rugby again. We're here to honor the players who wore the colors before us, build a home for everyone who wants to learn the game, and put the USVI back on the Caribbean rugby map.
~ for the legends before us, for the ruckers still to come ~
